As a Business Support Manager , you will be a key support in the region, reporting to and working alongside the Regional Director to support with the efficient operation of the North of England and Scotland Region (covering from Middlesbrough in the South to Inverness in the North).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Monitor and support all regional branches in achieving operational efficacy
  2. Assist the Regional Director in ensuring appropriate branch operational cover at all times
  3. Ensure Branch Managers roll out training for new initiatives such as Safety Guardian, toolbox talks, new systems, procedures, policies, etc.
  4. Ensure effective and efficient service is provided to all customers interacting with branches and across the region
  5. Work alongside the Regional Sales Team to support the Branch Managers in winning and retaining spending accounts
  6. Ensure scheduled stock checks and regular asset checks are completed
  7. Ensure damage costs are managed appropriately across the region
  8. Regional operational management of the tachograph system
  9. Support Branch Managers in the effective coaching of employees and management of the vehicle monitoring system
  10. Ensure Branch Managers meet all asset KPI targets
  11. Identify and recruit regional employees with the right potential in line with company policy
  12. To ensure regional individuals are trained effectively to be able to carry out their roles
  13. Work throughout the region to ensure compliance with HSE Legislation and Company policy
  14. When necessary, carry out any duties within your skill and competence to assist the smooth running of the business
What We’re Looking For

Proven stakeholder management experience
Ability to effectively prioritize workload at a high level
Evidence of continuous revenue and profit growth
Highly motivated with strong commercial skills at all levels
Proof of ability to lead and manage complex situations
Full P&L understanding and application required
Comfortable using IT equipment and MS Office packages
Flexibility is essential as travel is required across the region
Valid driving license - Essential
Previous experience within rental, multi-site, small tools, construction or related retail - Desirable
Multi-site management experience - Desirable

The ideal candidate will have Hire Industry experience and knowledge of small tools, although this is desirable, it is not essential. We are looking for someone with management experience who will be flexible with traveling.
