About the Role:
You'll play a key role in assisting customers in arrears, working collaboratively to develop personalized payment plans and ensure collections activities adhere to company policies and regulations.
What You'll Do:
- Proactively reach out to customers with outstanding balances.
- Listen empathetically to customer concerns and identify the root cause of payment issues.
- Collaborate with customers to develop realistic and sustainable payment plans.
- Clearly communicate collection policies and procedures in a professional manner.
- Negotiate and secure timely payments while maintaining positive customer relationships.
- Process payments and update customer accounts accurately.
- Document all customer interactions and adhere to strict data protection regulations.
Who You Are:
- A compassionate and understanding individual with a genuine desire to help others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers in challenging situations.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify solutions for customers.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency in relevant customer service software (a plus).
- Experience in a collections or contact centre environment.
