Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism
Contract Type: Full-time
Role Overview: As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in the growth and development of children with autism. As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be providing one-on-one support to children with autism, focusing on those with non-verbal or limited verbal abilities.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will collaborating with our skilled team to create personalized learning plans that cater to each child's unique needs.
Qualifications: We're looking for individuals who are passionate about working with children with special educational needs.
Experience working with individuals with autism (ASD), whether through paid positions or personal involvement.
A background in utilising communication tools such as PECS and Makaton, particularly with non-verbal or limited verbal children.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of children with SEN.
