About the Role
As engagement throughout the partnership is increasing and the work we do is expanding, this newly created position is an exciting opportunity to play a crucial role in driving the DEIB agenda across our global network.

You will help lead and deliver our newly refreshed DEIB strategy, shape and deliver localised strategies in the UK and support our Practice Groups in delivering their diversity and inclusion targets.

Working closely with the Centres of Excellence in HR you will be involved in a variety of projects, including reviewing and improving existing processes.

The first and only law firm to be ISO certified for its DEIB achievements, you will join a dynamic and ambitious team focused on delivering impact.

Collaboration and innovation are at the centre of how our team operates and you will have many opportunities to help shape the firm's approach to DEIB.

Key responsibilities:

1. To support our Practice Groups in delivering the firm's Diversity and Inclusion Targets
2. To contribute/ drive forward and lead on the development and implementation of localised DEIB strategies for our UK regions and Business Services in the UK
3. To support the Head of DEIB in shaping and delivering sub DEIB agenda strategies
4. To lead the development and implementation of a Social Mobility strategy for the firm
5. To collaborate with clients on DEIB
6. To manage one direct report (DEIB Advisor)
About You
Essential qualifications/skills/competencies:

• Strong expertise in DEIB, including sub-agendas, challenges, current trends
• Experience of effective DEIB consultancy/partnering (internal and external)
• Experience of designing and delivering localised evidence-based DEIB strategies across various teams and locations
• Experience in using and analysing data to identify gaps/trends, inform DEIB strategies and measure impact
• Experience of working and influencing at senior level
• Experience of building relationships, managing and engaging with a multitude of stakeholders to grow engagement and deliver change

Desirable qualifications/skills/experience:

• High level partnership and stakeholder management skills gained through working collaboratively with a variety of stakeholders and senior leaders
• Strong operational delivery skills
• Ability to analyse key people metrics and use data to influence business leaders' decisions
• Demonstrable ability to build credibility, trust and their profile quickly to maximise their impact across the organisation
• Demonstrable ability to understand, analyse and distil complex information to communicate key facts accurately, succinctly, and persuasively
• Proven project management and organisational skills
• Proven ability to establish personal credibility quickly, demonstrate the firm's values and build trust with colleagues at all levels
• Ability to work under pressure, manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while working with ambiguity
• Evidence of sound judgement, a people focused and flexible approach
• Well-developed written and oral communication skills
