Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Director to lead our commercial strategy and drive revenue growth within our EV business. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing commercial initiatives, forging strategic partnerships, and maximizing sales opportunities to accelerate the company's market presence and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive commercial strategies aligned with business objectives to drive revenue growth and market expansion in the EV sector.
  2. Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team, setting clear targets and objectives, and providing guidance and support to achieve sales goals. Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and business growth.
  3. Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and new opportunities. Utilize insights to refine product positioning and develop targeted marketing strategies.
  4. Partnership Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic partnerships with key stakeholders, including OEMs, suppliers, distributors, and industry associations, to enhance business development and collaboration opportunities.
  5. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for major contracts and agreements, ensuring favorable terms and conditions while mitigating risks. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to finalize contracts in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  6. Financial Management: Oversee budget planning and financial performance monitoring for commercial activities. Drive cost optimization initiatives while maximizing revenue streams and profitability.
  7. Product Development Support: Collaborate with the product development team to provide commercial insights and customer feedback for product roadmap planning and innovation strategies.
  8. Team Development: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing commercial team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  9. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a key liaison between internal departments, executive leadership, and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on commercial performance, market trends, and strategic initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of success in commercial leadership roles within the automotive industry, preferably in electric vehicles or related sectors.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing commercial strategies, driving sales growth, and managing complex negotiations.
  • Strong business acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive positioning.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve ambitious goals.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation abilities, with the aptitude to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Flexibility to travel as needed and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
