An expanding Stoke-on-Trent based fire and security services company is seeking a Project Lead & Technical Pre-Sales Executive to provide technical leadership and pre-sales expertise to drive sales and business growth through the effective leadership, planning and coordination of operations and teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects. As the Project Lead & Technical Pre-Sales Executive you will be responsible for: Planning and leading projects, managing timelines and budgets, coordinating teams and overseeing day-to-day operations to ensure the smooth delivery of projects. Providing technical support during the project lifecycle, troubleshooting issues during installation and post-implementation. Working closely with the sales team to identify potential opportunities and assess customer needs and designs before developing a detailed proposal with cost estimates, technical specifications and timelines. Delivering technical presentations and demonstrations to prospective customers, explaining the benefits and functionality of proposed solutions. Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, risk management procedures and quality control according to technical specifications and industry standards. Identifying opportunities for process improvements and innovation in project delivery and solution design. Staying up-to-date with industry trends and latest advancements in fire protection and security technologies. The Project Lead & Technical Pre-Sales Executive will have the following skills and attributes: Previous experience in project management, technical pre-sales, solution design or sales engineering within the fire and security industry is essential. Relevant industry certifications (e.g. NFPA, NICEIC, FIA or equivalent). Knowledge of fire protection and security systems (e.g. Fire alarms, access control, CCTV, intruder alarms). Proficient in using design software such as AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools. Strong organisational and leadership skills with the ability to communicate at various levels and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Full clean UK driving licence. You will be working 37.5 hours per week from the office in Stoke-on-Trent, Monday to Friday. Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings project oversight and site surveys.
