Chartered Lead Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Lead Architect to join our team at Building Careers UK. As a Chartered Architect - Departmental Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, management, and delivery of various building projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Specification: Design and specify building projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Project Management: Manage projects through planning, regulations, and consent processes, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary design teams and coordinate with external consultants to achieve project goals.
- Communication: Facilitate communication within the team and with external parties, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.
- Revenue Generation: Generate fees for the Architect Department through effective project management and delivery.
- Team Supervision: Supervise a team of Architectural Technicians, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
- Qualifications: ARB registered Architect with relevant experience.
- Professional Memberships: Membership in professional bodies like ARB and RIBA.
- Experience: Demonstrated experience in Architectural design and delivery, with versatility across operational areas and client types.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp or similar, and experience across all 6 RIBA work-stages.
