London, United Kingdom Box Full time

FrightFest Film Festival is looking for volunteers for its 2024 edition.

About FrightFest

FrightFest Film Festival will be celebrating its 25th anniversary of bringing the scares, frights, and all things that go bump in the night to London, Leicester Square, during the August Bank Holiday 2024.

We are looking for a dedicated group of volunteers to help us make the UK’s largest celebration of cinematic horror and fantasy the best yet Roles will be varied from ushering, box office, green room, media wall, and general assistance to the core FrightFest team throughout the long weekend.

If you have a love for events or film this is a great opportunity to get insight into the industry as well as working with a passionate and dedicated team. You’ll be given introductory training, guidance, and help throughout the festival. Additional benefits include tickets for FrightFest films (outside of your shift), a FrightFest volunteer T-shirt, and Tickets to the closing night party.

Availability for the event needed will be between Wednesday 21 to Tuesday 27 August, with the actual festival running from the 22 to the 26 August, being based in the Odeon LSQ and Odeon West End, in the heart of London. We will be offering an allowance of half-day (4 hours) and full-day (8 hours) rates. Please note a volunteer will need to be available for a total of three full days to claim.

We will then send an application form link for you to offer a little about yourself as well as the hours and days you would be available as a successful applicant. No need for CV’s or cover letters.

We look forward to hearing from you.
