This post is for a Supply Chain Management Intern (Fixed Wing) to work within the Supply Chain function in Boeing Defence UK (BDUK) in Bristol . BDUK is responsible for delivering several exciting contracts to our UK defence customers including E-7 AEW&C, P-8A Maritime Patrol Aircraft, C4ISR Services, and Through Life Support for the Chinook & Apache Fleets, Logistic Information Services and Training Services
Day-to-day support and management of assigned parts, liaison with internal and external customers of demand priority/criticality of a Programme in the UK.
Analysing Target Stock Levels, Consumption Data and Condemnation Rates for individual parts.
Supporting Risk, Issue and Opportunity, identification and project management for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
Stakeholder management
Managing supplier and functional performance targets.
Supporting Risk, Issue and Opportunity, identification and project management for process improvements and cost reduction initiatives.
IT proficient (particularly Excel, PowerPoint).
Studying towards a business degree, with interest or focus on supply chain.
Skilled team member/contributor
PLEASE NOTE: The successful candidate will be expected to undergo a Security Clearance Process, which will require 5 years uninterrupted residency in the UK prior to applying.

Security Clearance
This position requires the ability to obtain United Kingdom Security Check.
