Commercial Sales Director – Digital, Media and Events

BOAT International is the world’s leading superyacht multimedia, data/market intelligence and events organisation. We produce luxury superyacht magazines, curate and deliver the world superyacht awards (the oscars for superyachts) and produce highly successful industry events such as the superyacht design festival and various owners club events hosted around the world.

Lead with Vision and Achieve Results: You’ll spearhead the annual strategy for our digital business, aligning with commercial goals and exceeding your revenue targets. Drive Innovation and Build Partnerships: You’ll actively sell sponsorships and digital advertising across all BOAT International platforms, creating long-term, strategic relationships with partners who share our vision.
Leverage your exceptional selling and influencing skills to uncover new revenue streams, attract new clients, and unlock opportunities that elevate our brand.
Foster Excellence with Key Accounts: Manage and grow our top 20 digital clients, taking a thoughtful, professional approach to nurturing existing relationships while expanding their potential.
Extensive Events Industry Experience: Proven track record of selling digital media and multimedia solutions, ideally at a senior level and to senior stakeholders.
Leadership in Sales Strategy: Demonstrated ability to drive multimedia sales strategies, delivering tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
Self-Motivated and Results-Oriented: You are creative, driven, and focused on achieving exceptional outcomes in a competitive environment.
Data-Driven Focus: Take ownership of forecasting and delivering sales performance for your client base, sharing progress and pledges in daily sales meetings.
Annual leave - Full-time benefit is 33 days per year (25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays). The Company also offers up to an additional 3 days of paid time off during the Christmas office closure period.
You will also receive your birthday off or the following day each year, provided it falls on a weekday.
Long Service Award
Pension - Auto-enrollment into the pension scheme with standard contributions set at 4%, with the Company matching employee contributions up to 5%.
Maternity and Paternity pay - Maternity pays 12 weeks at 100% of basic pay followed by 27 weeks at Statutory Maternity Pay rate. Paternity pays 1 week at full pay, followed by a second week at Statutory Paternity Pay rate.
Enhanced sick pay - After probation, the company will pay up to two weeks full pay per year, increasing to five weeks based on the length of service.
Cycle to Work scheme - The Company operates a Cycle to Work scheme to enable you to enjoy tax-free cycling.
Refer a friend scheme - A £500 employee referral payment for successfully referring a friend or contact for employment.
Summer Hours - Early finish at 3pm every Friday during July and August.
