Principal DSP Engineer - Senior Level - Global Leading company - Semiconductor Industry - Above 7+ years experience necessary

With over 20,000 employees globally this giant is a world leader in the semiconductor industry that produces components for a wide variety of embedded tech industries such as Home electronics, Industrial and Automotive Technology.

In this Principal DSP ( Digital Signal Processing) Engineer Role you will be designing cutting-edge audio filters and algorithms, collaborate with a talented global team, and be at the forefront of audio innovation.

  • Collaborate with a talented and supportive team: You'll work alongside brilliant DSP engineers who are passionate about audio and dedicated to your success.
  • Your technical expertise is essential: We're looking for someone with a deep understanding of DSP principles, embedded systems, and real-time C/C++ programming.
  • Provide technical leadership to your team: provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on the team.
  • Complex Project Management: Lead and manage complex Audio DSP projects, ensuring they meet deadlines, budget, and performance requirements.

Responsibilities include: Using your extensive knowledge in embedded DSP technology to design, develop, integrate, evaluate and verify DSP Audio Filters, Algorithms and Embedded solutions. You will deliver high-quality designs, code and tests within agreed timescales.

This is a full time Permanent Position that offers Hybrid work each week. Based in Edinburgh (Scotland) or Patras (Greece)

Salary is negotiable dependant on relevant Audio and Digital Signal Processing experience.

For this Principal DSP Engineer position I am interested in speaking to the following:

  • People with an advanced knowledge of semiconductor and SoC/microcontroller technology.
  • Fluent in spoken English
  • Someone with 7+ years in a related Engineering role
