Principal DSP Software Engineer

Are you a passionate DSP expert ready to shape the future of audio? Our client is seeking a talented Principal DSP Software Engineer to join our team and drive the development of cutting-edge audio solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance DSP audio filters and algorithms.
  • Create and implement embedded DSP solutions that meet stringent performance and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative audio products.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance development efficiency and product quality.

What you'll need:

  • Deep expertise in DSP architectures, algorithms, and implementation techniques.
  • Proven track record in embedded software development using C/C++.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for algorithm prototyping and analysis.
  • Experience with fixed-point arithmetic and optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus points for:

  • Knowledge of audio processing and acoustics.
  • Experience with low-power and low-latency DSP design.
  • Leadership experience in technical teams.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
