To ensure a viable, efficient, and reliable energy future for all. The Senior Process Engineer will be operating as part of the Strategic Infrastructure Business Unit to manage the technical aspects of nuclear process engineering packages for a major Defence client.
The primary purpose of the Senior Process Engineer is to assist and support the Client Design Manager in the delivery of project scope. Managing the delivery of nuclear process work packages to the required scope, quality, schedule and cost.
️ agreeing project related objectives, managing designer performance, and making appropriate technical management responses.
️ Ensuring that the design documentation covers the scope of operations required by the Project Manager and is produced to agreed standards, schedule, and budget.
️ Planning for effective project implementation, identifying key factors and leading the project’s technical planning process.
️ Ensuring effective Quality Management Arrangements, operating and delivering through compliance with the Client’s Business Management System and Technical Manual.
️ Ensuring that the processes and activities being managed are appropriately documented with appropriate records maintained and configuration and quality controls applied.

A degree or equivalent in a Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
Preferably Chartered Engineer status and member of relevant institute or significant demonstrable engineering experience and capable of registration with the Engineering Council at CEng level.
Nuclear Introductory Course or equivalent nuclear and/or marine system knowledge.
Design and substantiation of process engineering solutions to relevant codes for satisfying Nuclear Safety Functions; experience in dock structures preferred.
Knowledge of process design of large-scale industrial plant.
Sound project specification, planning, project management and budgeting experience.
Experience of the design support to construction, operation, refit/repair of conventional and nuclear submarines and/or facilities.
