As an Improvement Engineer, you will be instrumental in executing lean manufacturing strategies designed to minimize waste, optimize processes, and boost overall productivity.

Your collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential in pinpointing areas for enhancement, crafting actionable plans, and leading initiatives focused on setup reduction and continuous improvement.

Your contributions will be vital in nurturing a culture of innovation and proactive problem-solving within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
You will spearhead the formulation and execution of a robust continuous improvement/setup reduction strategy.

By assessing and scrutinizing machine setups, you will identify potential areas for enhancement and apply lean manufacturing methodologies such as SMED, 5S, Kanban, and Kaizen.

You will facilitate collaboration across various departments on improvement initiatives, monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and communicate the effects of these efforts. Furthermore, you will provide education and training to staff on continuous improvement principles, fostering an environment of open dialogue and problem-solving.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in continuous improvement or lean manufacturing within a production setting.
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing tools and a proven track record of successful project execution.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to operate independently as well as collaboratively.
