ROLE OVERVIEW
The successful applicant will be highly motivated, numerate, and have good communication skills and excellent attention to detail, plus good knowledge of Excel. The role represents an opportunity to develop your career in a busy buying and merchandising department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Effectively manage inventory, whilst driving sales through improved availability and forecasting product set up and maintenance, pushing for complete accuracy
Retail purchase order management
Produce detailed analysis on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and end of season basis, providing insights into performance and key drivers
Regular supplier communication
Support the Senior Merchandiser with ad hoc analysis when requested
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel
Strong commercial, qualitative and with excellent communication skills
Must be organised, methodical, and efficient with excellent timekeeping skills to meet deadlines.
Able to build and maintain productive relationships cross functionally
Is proactive and adaptable.
Has experience of ERP would be an advantage.
A love of gardening would be an advantage.
