Coordinate and Manage Payroll and Benefits: Oversee the entire payroll and benefits function, including management and supervision of the Payroll Team.
# Payroll Administration and Support: Assist with payroll administration, including month-end consolidation, processing support, and auditing to ensure compliance with legislative and award requirements.
# Support internal reporting needs, such as annual leave and intercompany reports, and develop and update the payroll reference manual for managers.
# Administer employee benefits, including system-based processes like auto-enrolment, and manage calculations and reconciliations of payments.
# System and Process Improvement: Lead projects for continual improvement and standardisation of payroll operations and systems, perform system upgrades, and ensure accurate maintenance of staff records.
# Workers Compensation and Ad Hoc Reporting: Coordinate workers' compensation processes, including filing claims and preparing payments, and prepare ad hoc reports as required.
Possess comprehensive and working knowledge of payroll systems and their functionalities.
# Demonstrate substantial experience in payroll management, including effectively overseeing payroll operations.
# Skilled in creating, reviewing, and supplying policies and procedures, with experience in business process improvement.
