**The Role**:
We are seeking a friendly and confident person to join our team as an Operations Support Officer.

This is a new and exciting role within the business which will be key to ensuring that compliance and statutory regulations are met on site.

The Operations Support Officer will be responsible for the site product tests which will need to be recorded clearly and accurately. Due to this, attention to detail is a necessity for this position. Youwill also provide support to the current team in terms of production and compliance which will also include the operation of the weighbridge facility when required.

We are looking for someone who is reliable and able to work in a team yet be extremely proactive in carrying out individual duties without supervision. You must be meticulous and thorough in your workings as well as having great communication and IT skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Undertaking product tests and recording the data
- Circulating and collating daily/weekly/monthly drier reports
- Overseeing training records and reporting to line manager’s current situation to ensure the system is kept up to date.
- Ensure paperwork is up-to-date for all site employees
- Update/Maintain site records
- Undertake site inductions as required
- Prepare contractor paperwork in advance of them being on site.
- Undertake training to become a fire marshal and become the office appointed representative
- Undertake Fire extinguishers inspection and recording of information and action as required
- Undertake Mask fit training and become a site resource for this task
- Provide Weighbridge cover as required
- Liaising with other depot team members & hauliers regarding internal site transfers
- The booking in and out of all site visitors
- Answering phone enquiries & queries

The job description lists major job tasks and accountabilities, but it is expected that individuals should be flexible, to carry out other reasonable activities as requested by the company from time to time.

Experience in administration and a data focused role is desirable but not required.

**Salary**: £22,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
