About the Data Specialist Role:
We are looking for a highly competent and motivated Data Specialist to join our busy Data Team of 5. As a Data Specialist, you will be part of an important role to the business, overseeing and maintaining the quality and reliability of master data within our critical ERP & Operational Systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain master data contained within ERP and Manufacturing Systems.
- Ensure the accuracy, completeness, consistency, and validity of master data.
- Maintain data quality standards and policies.
- Adhere to data governance procedures.
- Engage with Planning, Operations, New Product Development, Compliance, Customer Support, and Despatch teams to ensure data requirements are met.
- Ensure compliance with relevant data protection regulations and industry standards.
Requirements:
- Experience working with data across multiple systems to ensure data quality/consistency.
- Understanding of ERP & Manufacturing concepts and functionality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Applications Including Excel.
- Possess a keen eye for detail to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and quality of data.
- Vigilant in identifying and rectifying data anomalies and errors.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud (advantageous)
- Microsoft Power Query (advantageous)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Adapt to changing business needs and evolving data requirements.
