Currently, we are looking for a Contract Ellucian Banner Developer to join our team and support our ongoing initiatives.

Position Overview:

As a Contract Ellucian Banner Developer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining Ellucian Banner modules and related systems to support our university's administrative and academic functions. You will collaborate with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of Banner-related projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and customize Ellucian Banner modules based on university requirements and best practices.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for Banner system enhancements and integrations.
  3. Design, develop, test, and implement new Banner functionality, reports, and workflows.
  4. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Banner-related issues, including performance optimization and system upgrades.
  5. Work closely with IT teams to integrate Banner with other enterprise systems such as CRM, LMS, and financial systems.
  6. Document technical specifications, configurations, and processes related to Banner development and maintenance.
  7. Stay updated with Ellucian Banner software updates, patches, and industry trends to ensure the university's systems are up-to-date and compliant.
  8. Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions related to Banner development and usage.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Banner developer, with expertise in Ellucian Banner modules such as Student, Finance, HR, and Advancement.
  • Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, SQL, Java, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for Banner customization and development.
  • Experience with Banner API integrations, web services, and data migration techniques.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git), IDEs, and software development methodologies (e.g., Agile).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ellucian Banner certifications (e.g., Ellucian Ethos Integration, Banner Student, Banner Finance) are a plus.
