Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership:
    Develop and execute comprehensive HSE strategies aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices. Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HSE matters, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management and compliance.
  2. Regulatory Compliance:
    Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to health, safety, and environmental practices. Ensure compliance with all applicable HSE laws and regulations across the organization's global footprint.
  3. Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
    Conduct thorough risk assessments across all business units and operations to identify potential hazards and vulnerabilities. Implement effective risk mitigation measures and contingency plans to minimize HSE-related incidents and emergencies.
  4. Training and Education:
    Develop and implement HSE training programs for employees at all levels, fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship. Provide leadership and support for HSE awareness campaigns and initiatives aimed at promoting employee engagement and accountability.
  5. Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field. Proven experience in a senior HSE leadership role, preferably within a multinational corporation or similar complex organizational structure. In-depth knowledge of global HSE regulations, standards, and best practices. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, develop strategies, and make data-driven decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Demonstrated track record of driving cultural change and promoting a safety-conscious work environment. Availability for travel as needed.
