Job Description T he UM media team are responsible for the planning and buying of media campaigns for our clients. The team has extensive experience across the full range of online and offline channels.
We are looking for an experienced Senior Digital Media Executive to support the media team for a variety of clients in industries including grocery, travel, retail and tech.
UM is the media division of McCann Birmingham, which in turn is part of McCann Central, the UK’s largest integrated agency. Over 500 individuals working together to help brands play a meaningful role in people’s lives.
We are also part of McCann Worldgroup, a global agency network that delivers culture-shaping work for some of the world’s biggest brands.
And to add to the (literal) wheelbarrow full of awards we’ve got including Euro Effies most effective global agency, Cannes Network of the Year, Campaign’s European Integrated Agency of the Year, not to mention McCann Central’s haul of awards in recent years at Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show, D&AD, LIAs, Golden Drum & Creative Circle Awards. We’re a team of passionate media specialists, creatives, strategists, and engineers from a wide mix of backgrounds. Planning, buying and implementation of digital media campaigns across managed and self-service digital platforms – display, video, social media and search. On occasion there will be a requirement to help on offline channels too
Preparation of detailed and accurate digital media schedules in Excel
Independently carrying out media and audience research
Monitoring, reporting on and reconciling campaigns
Accurate billings and revenue management
Working with a friendly, supportive, and highly experienced group of media professionals who will always be on hand to help you succeed and have fun at the same time
Working under the same roof as marketing professionals with a diverse range of experience across creative, design, strategy, UX and more

Previous media agency experience
Commercial acumen
Working knowledge of analytics and data – the ability to run detailed reports in Excel to measure campaign effectiveness
Experience in and knowledge of programmatic campaign planning and delivery, both managed and self-serve platforms
