You will have a proven track record in this field, possessing strong commercial acumen, new business development and closure experience and have an in-depth understanding of the importance of customer service. A key driver to the success of this position will be the implementation of Digital solutions to support the commercial activity. Previous experience in this field will be essential. The role also requires a high level of interaction with your sales colleagues as well as other internal business stakeholders, particularly with the Supply Chain and Operations teams. By administering, driving and developing sales to support business targets and objectives via self generation, use of marketing data and leads through Digital platforms.
● Managing the on-boarding of new customers through digital platforms.
● Maintaining and updating customer databases on SalesForce.com. to capture and analyse sales activity. (SalesForce knowledge is preferable, however training will be provided.
● Supporting the Sales team to deliver the sales targets.
● Analyse customer sales data, qualify prospects and determine specific actions.
● Calling, emailing, or responding to customers to follow up initial sales contacts.
● Sourcing and managing leads from business database the internet and email campaigns.
● Planning targets and assisting proposal writing
● Preparing sales pitches.
● To assist the Operational & Sales activity within MedGas, as and when required. ● Experience in selling B2B in either a medical, manufacturing or gas environment.
● Good standard of numeracy and literacy / Accurate data inputting skills.
● Experience in Digital sales platforms: Salesforce.com / websites / ePortals. ● Confident and friendly telephone manner.
