What you’ll be doing:

  • Development and co-ordination of appropriate Facilities Management (FM) capability for Lossiemouth in terms of processes and supply chain of both BAE Systems and external third party support
  • Co-ordination of the local FM Interface between the BAE Systems TyTAN Lossiemouth team and the necessary Facilities Management solution providers in the customer community
  • Provide FM prime point of contact and Governance & Support to BAE Systems teams at RAF Lossiemouth
  • Support and lead the implementation of agreed improvement project at RAF Lossiemouth in line with a Bases Improvement Strategy, Levelling Up initiative and approved Contract changes from TyTAN
  • Ensure activities are delivered in accordance with corporate/departmental quality procedures and Governance, managing Consultants/Contractors to facilitate the definition, construction safety, installation and handover of all Projects
  • Carry out the role of SHE Plan Coordinator, in conjunction with the Site SHE Advisor, on behalf of the SHE Plan Owner & CDM Regulation are applied

Your skills and experiences:

  • Pre-construction and ConstructionProject Management experience
  • On Base experience gained through permanent placement , temporary assignment or deployment to an RAF Station and/or Military location
  • SHE Trained in project delivery and construction activities, including CDM (Construction Design and Management Regulations)
  • Previous exposure to MOD/Defence Industry and Defence Infrastructure Organisation
  • Knowledge of SharePoint and/or Confluence

The TyTAN Lossiemouth Facilities Support team:

As an FM Lead, you will play a crucial role in providing infrastructure support, collaborating closely with the BAE System’s team, DE&S, and the RAF. Working alongside a team of highly skilled and motivated individuals, you will contribute to the efficient delivery of Typhoon support, you will have the exciting responsibility of evaluating existing infrastructure and partnering with both internal and external stakeholders to enhance the working environment for all base personnel, making it an enriching and rewarding experience.
