Your New Job Title: Banking Operations Officer, Mandarin speaking

are fluent in both written and spoken Mandarin Chinese
have experience in banking with SWIFT, Payments/Settlement/Trade Finance/Treasury Operations, etc.
Recognise and manage operational risks involved with each type of transaction. Resolve discrepancies and mismatches in regard to transaction materials and confirm with the Bank’s counterparties as soon as possible; CDD/KYC collating the CDD documents for Financial Institutions (e.g. Nostro, Vostro Bank) and screening new customers using systems;
Treasury products processing and settlement - mainly (inter-bank) loan/deposit, Foreign Exchange / FX Swap, Bond settlement, Repo / Reverse Repo, Interest & Cross-currency swaps. Follow through mismatched trading information and take ownership of the investigation process to ensure issues or concerns have been dealt with promptly;
Correspondent banking/GBP clearing - process payments in an accurate and timely manner; Provide backup for tasks such as loan administration for syndicated and bilateral loans, trade finance transaction, etc;
General Account Management - populate the core banking system with new account and/or customer data; process incoming third-party payments and populate the core banking system with remittance data to facilitate the creation of SWIFT payment messages.
Additional ad hoc tasks as required by the manager.
Experience in banking operations, e.g. Payments, Settlement, Trade Finance and Treasury Operations.
Ideally Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Economics/Finance/Accounting.
