Development Services Technical Specialist - Customer Connections

Do your bit by joining our Development Operations as a Connections Development Operations Adviser
You’ll be self-motivated and flexible individual in the delivery of our key objectives, as we aim to reach our goal of being Scotland's most trusted and valued business. You will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders, managing the end-to-end connections process with our contractor’s and customers on new water connections and ensuring the protection of the existing public water infrastructure and public health in accordance with Scottish Water policy.
Provide excellent customer service, to contractors, developers, single house customers and Non Domestic customers - putting them at the heart of all we do.
Provide fast and accurate technical advice on water connections and guidance to customers and stakeholders, adapting your delivery based on your customer type.
Stakeholder management both internal and external – being able to build relationships is key to this role and working together as ‘One Scottish Water’.
Manage customer expectations within the regulation and legislation Scottish Water works within, e.g. Health and Safety and Work Act, Water (Scotland) Act.
Have a high level and proven track record of achieving customer service excellence.

Have a technical background on water and understanding of DOMS process.
