Through its subsidiaries and affiliates, they offer a diverse range of financial services, including commercial banking, leasing, securities, credit card, consumer finance and other services.

They are looking for a Derivates Settlements Associate to join the team on a contract to 28 March 2025. In this role you will be working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, however flexibility is required. You will be based in their London office 2-3 days a week, with the remainder of time working from home.

Engages with and collaborates with immediate stakeholders in order to effectively implement change.
makes suggestions based on analysis and evidence.

daily settlement processing for derivatives and securities completed in line with policy and procedures.
~ pre-settlement reconciliation and payment confirmation with an emphasis on awareness and monitoring of settlement risk.
~ investigations in relation to trade/nostro breaks and be responsible for static data updates pertaining to Settlements- including but not limited to settlement calendar updates, client/broker updates.
~ 4-eye checks and other key controls to ensure the accuracy of work and to mitigate risk. This also includes, monitoring group email inboxes, query management and oversight of associated checklists.
~ Ensure reconciliation breaks on Nostros are proactively followed up and resolved.
~ with support teams to ensure that all downstream information and appropriate systems are available and online, escalating any issues to line manager in a timely manner.
~ with immediate stakeholders and support system enhancements and related UAT.
~ for the timely and accurate completion of derivative settlements and associated tasks, ensuring that all regulatory and contractual obligations are fulfilled.
relationships with counterparts and internal stakeholders to promote quality of service, ensuring the timely escalation and resolution of issues and queries.
the maintenance and review of desktop procedures relating to day to day processes and administer updates via the policy and procedures database on a periodic basis
document and supervise UAT as part of new system upgrades and development.
opportunities to streamline processes by introducing systemic solutions and/or by centralising processes to create a central processing hub.
compliance training and integrates learning and requirements into the day to day delivery of tasks, demonstrating an understanding of applicable risks and controls.

in derivatives and foreign exchange, payment investigations, SWIFT message types and FX banking knowledge would be an advantage.
working knowledge of Excel, capable of manipulating financial data.
motivated, energetic, flexible and collaborative.
multiple deadlines for a shifting volume of tasks on a daily basis.
of ‘User Acceptance Testing’ (UAT).
