Are you a passionate and dedicated teacher with a strong commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced SEND Teacher to join our dynamic team to help enrich the lives of students with additional needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons tailored to meet the individual needs of students with a range of SEND.
  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including teaching assistants, therapists, and support staff, to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Develop and implement IEPs and EHCPs for students with SEND, regularly reviewing and updating as necessary networking with professional bodies when time to complete EHCP reviews.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and partnership.
  • Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and inspire students with SEND, promoting a love for learning.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and guardians.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with relevant SEND experience.
  • Knowledge of various learning difficulties and disabilities, including but not limited to Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties.
  • Familiarity with the latest SEND legislation and best practices.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Commitment to professional development and staying current with educational trends.
