We are seeking a dedicated SEND Teacher to join one of our Secondary SEND Schools in Newham. You will support students' academic, social, and emotional development. The class you will be working on will be a mixed SLD KS4 class where you will work with student's sensory and communication development 6 students in a class with 4 Teaching assistants to support.
Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Assess and monitor student progress, adapting teaching strategies accordingly.
Collaborate with teaching assistants and other support staff.
Liaise with external agencies and professionals to support student development.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching children or young people with SEND.
Strong knowledge of SEND practices and inclusive education.
Willingness to learn and adapt to the needs of the school and students.
