Job Description
Compliance Director
This is a newly created Director of Compliance role reporting into our Group CEO. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for someone that wants to join us during our growth phase.
Key responsibilities to include:
- Development, implementation and oversight of the compliance and control environment to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and internal policies in relevant business sectors.
- Review and revise control environment (including systems, policies and procedures) periodically to identify and address operational, regulatory and legal risks or non-conformity issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities in relevant markets around the world.
- Prepare reports for the board of directors, senior management team and external regulatory bodies (as appropriate) on regulatory, compliance and control matters
- Responsibility for overseeing and managing the existing compliance function.
- Liaising with relevant stakeholders on regulatory and compliance matters
Requirements
- Experience in risk management
- Knowledge of legal requirements and controls
- Familiarity with industry practices and professional standards of the telecommunication regulation and pre-paid determination is a plus
