Regional Sales Manager - Lighting Projects
The Company Recruiting for Regional Sales Manager is a growing manufacturer of lighting solutions with 4 key brands in their well known portfolio. They are now part of a larger European group and they are receiving great investment in the UK. With factories in Germany, Belgium and France and a strong technical and customer support team in the UK, they are in a great period of growth and offer stability and confidence. The business has a great foundation of customers in the Wholesale and Contractors sector. The Sales Manager in the South of England will be focused on motivating, driving and coaching the sales team out in field and supporting on joint visits and customer contracts as well as managing some key buyer relationships within national wholesalers and buying groups. This is a great role for a hands on, people focused, manager with the ability to travel across the South of England and Wales. An exciting time to join with a wide variety of industrial, commercial and public sector projects to be involved in.
The Purpose of the role of Regional Sales Manager is to manage the Area Sales Managers as they grow their presence and account base within electrical wholesalers in their various territories. They will lead the team in sales strategy and coach individuals on core selling techniques as well as owning the budget and sales targets for the region. They will coach their team to uncover opportunities for new leads, increased orders and new projects through the electrical wholesaler market. When directly selling to stakeholders, they will be selling a range of industrial, commercial and emergency lighting products that range from cost effective and good value items to architectural and high spec lighting solutions. A great variety of brands with a chance to cover many customers. Candidates with experience in lighting, cabling or associated electrical products will do very well. Candidates working for electrical wholesalers or who have led sales team who sell to electrical wholesalers will be ideally placed for this. Full product and systems training will be given to all candidates.
For the position of Regional Sales Manager - South of UK, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
· 2 years or more working managing a field sales team in the electrical sector
· Understanding of electrical/lighting products having sold or worked for electrical wholesalers
· Ability to travel 4 days a week across South Wales, South West and South East England.
· A passionate, hand on, sales driven people manager with the ability to deliver sales coaching and support
Benefits of this Regional Sales Manager - South of UK role
