Regional Sales Consultant

Regional Sales Consultant - Life Sciences/Haematology - Central England - up to £40k basic plus Bonus + Co. Bonus+ Car and Benefits Leading diagnostics company require a Regional Sales Consultant to represent the company in a designated Central Eastern England territory. You will support your Regional Commercial Managers and National Business Manager in delivering on the overall strategy objectives etc.. You will be responsible for retaining current and acquiring new business. Your market opportunities will consist of small private and commercial laboratories, research establishments together with clinics and hospital departments wishing to procure outside of core laboratory purchasing arrangements, veterinary labs and private CROs. There is already a very well established base of customers on the territory and you will be responsible for maximising opportunities through existing contacts as well as developing potential new areas in order to meet sales goals and business objectives. You will work closely with your customers and be seen a true partner in providing product and solutions. Excellent commercial awareness and intuitive sales aptitude will be vital in this role. Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills are imperative as is a desire to exceed customer expectations. You should also be results driven, confident, and customer orientated. It is advantageous that you have a Life Science or Business degree level qualification (or equivalent) and ideally you will have worked in a Medical Laboratory with diagnostics equipment although other life science biased areas will be considered.
