Overview of the Role: We have partnered with property management company Davlea Estates , on the recruitment of a brand-new role, as Operations Manager of Cornmill Shopping Centre , in Darlington .
As the Operations Manager , you will work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure the seamless operation of the shopping centre. Your role will involve managing both hard and soft services, assisting in delivering the annual business plan and service charge, overseeing facility maintenance activities, and supporting various operational projects. Your focus will be on enhancing operational performance, security, health and safety, environmental sustainability, and the overall customer experience.
Manage contractors, administer the Permit to Work System, and conduct weekly Health and Safety inspections.
Assist in developing the annual business plan and service charge budget, and process operational supplier invoices.
Play a crucial role in the seamless operation of a dynamic shopping centre.
Collaborate with a dedicated team to achieve common goals and develop your career within the facilities management sector.
Experienced in facilities management within retail, hospitality, or commercial property sectors, and knowledgeable in business administration principles.
Highly organized, committed to enhancing customer experiences, adaptable to changing environments, and willing to work weekends as Duty Manager.
