Job Description: Climbing Centre Assistant

We are looking for Climbing Centre Assistants with a background in hospitality and customer service.
If you are passionate about providing exceptional hospitality experiences and have the necessary skills and experience, we would love to hear from you. Join our team and be a part of creating memorable moments for our visitors.
Duties:
- Provide excellent customer service and hospitality to visitors
- Assist with check-in and check-out procedures
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and managing reservations
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and visitor satisfaction
- Assist with event planning and execution
- Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry
Experience:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
Person Specification
The Climbing Centre Assistant will report to the Senior Climbing Coach and Centre Manager
- An interest in climbing
- Good communication skills
- Basic IT Skills
- Friendly, approachable and enthusiastic when working with people
- Attention to detail and a desire to deliver the best service possible
- Be flexible and work on rota system to meet the needs of the business.
Desirable skills
- An understanding of working in a busy environment
- Previous experience working with children
- Customer care experience
- Climbing qualifications or experience
- First Aid at Work
- DBS Check
- Food Hygiene
- Experience of working in similar climbing wall or leisure setting
