As part of our commitment to the well-being of our students, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Welfare Assistant to join our team. Responsibilities: Provide first aid to students and staff as needed, ensuring prompt and appropriate medical care. Contact emergency services and notify appropriate school personnel in severe situations, maintaining calm and efficient communication. Liaise with parents regarding student health concerns, injuries, and medical needs, fostering positive relationships and open communication channels. Assist with the administration of medications to students according to school policies and procedures. Maintain accurate records of incidents, injuries, and medical treatments, ensuring compliance with relevant : Valid First Aid certification is required. Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with students, parents, and staff. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred but not required.Location: Situated in Tower Hamlets, a diverse and vibrant borough in East London known for its rich cultural heritage and thriving community spirit.
