The Ops Readiness Manager is a mid-level member of the management team, with specific accountability of protecting operational and customer service through business readiness, and service gatekeeping. Ensuring alignment to and enhancement of quality and standards, include overall department performance measurement, internal customer engagement and feedback, driving CSIP activities.
Capturing internal and external requirements for Operational Readiness including targets, criteria, frequencies, volumes, scopes, specifications and quality levels – on an ongoing, evolving basis.
Continuously advise key stakeholders on changes to requirements and risk approach for Operational Acceptance.
Contribute to the scope of Operational Acceptance Testing and engage with all relevant testing in a manner that ensures the protection of Operational Service and assures testing criteria meet the needs of our Operational Performance Requirements and supportability requirements.
Contribute to the development of Technical Assurance plans for specific change projects in collaboration with relevant project, e.Identify resource requirements, and work with the Operational Governance team to meet defined projects and support acceptance activities.
Record and report on performance of Operational Readiness activities to senior management.
Responsible for ensuring the appropriate technical assurance has taken place to support Operational Readiness plans and provide inputs to the PIT, SIT and UIT test criteria which will ensure a quality deliverable and factor in Lessons Learned from previous programmes. 
Developing the appropriate Operational Readiness policies to underpin our customer needs and influence our suppliers’ behaviours.
