Chef de Parties are the cogs of the kitchen, prepping and serving dishes across all menus, from various sections on the line. Strong health and safety and food hygiene practices are essential, following detailed task lists and processes daily as outlined by line managers.
This role is within the catering sector, Monday to Friday 6.30pm, 40 hour contract. Option for additional hours during the week and weekend, if available. All overtime paid.
Set-up of all required MEP and equipment for the successful operation of allocated section (sauce / larder / prep / pastry) for breakfast and lunch services.
Ensure consistency and quality of prep and final product by following Big Sky prep sheets and recipes, under the guidance of line managers.
Put effort into optimizing the prep and cooking processes, with attention to speed and efficiency as well as quality.
Enforce strict health and hygiene standards, completing
Support and training of Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters, when needed and instructed by line manager.
Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation and a positive working environment amongst your team.
