A Norwich-based organisation is seeking a Quality Engineer to work within their calibration laboratory in Norwich. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and overseeing quality assurance procedures and carrying out all requirements of the relevant indsutry standards. This is an opportunity to join a small but very successful business in a clean, bright, and modern facility. The team is professional and motivated but very welcoming and sees low staff turnover, resulting in a positive atmosphere that fosters teamwork and collaboration. For someone with the required background this business offers a stable, long-term opportunity to work in a genuinely nice environment. Ideally, the successful candidate will have worked within calibration and be familiar with ISO 17025 (UKAS) and ISO 9001. However, on-the-job training will be offered and candidates with a background in electrical/electronics QA are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with UKAS 17025 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Check and issue calibration certificates and results.
  • Respond to customer quality inquiries with professionalism and expertise.
  • Authorise, issue, and control of management systems.
  • Maintain accurate personnel training records.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in quality engineering or a related field.
  • Knowledge of UKAS 17025 and ISO 9001 standards is preferred.
  • Strong organisational ability.
  • Able to work alone or as part of a team.
