Are you an experienced estimator ready to work on high-profile commercial construction projects? They specialize in large-scale commercial projects and are looking for top talent to relocate from the UK to Canada.
Lead the estimating team, preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for large-scale commercial construction projects.
Develop, manage, and present comprehensive estimates that include material, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals and budgets.
Oversee the bidding process, including evaluating tender submissions, negotiating with subcontractors, and ensuring competitive pricing.
Provide strategic advice on cost-saving initiatives, value engineering, and risk management to optimize project budgets.
Manage pre-construction activities and work closely with stakeholders to refine project scopes and objectives.
Train, mentor, and manage junior estimators, ensuring consistent quality and accuracy across all estimates. Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
Proven track record of managing estimating functions on large-scale commercial construction projects.
Expertise in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Sage Estimating, or equivalent) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
