Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Manager is required to join a global mechatronic solutions provider in the Midlands.
Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will be responsible for new business development across the UK, this role will primarily be focusing on the Renewable Energy industry.
Business Development Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Sales Manager will be selling electrical connection solutions into the renewable energy market, the focal point being Solar Photovoltaics connectors to OEM's.
This role is covering nationally, however most of the work is based in the Midlands.

£55,000 + Bonus

Role:
Increase turnover of the area, managing and developing an existing client base and also be able to bring on new profitable clients.
Selling direct into the Photovoltaic market selling a mixture of connectors, the main focus point being the MC4 connectors.
Build and maintain close relationships with existing key accounts to develop sales.
Preparing weekly calls and visit reports to new customers.
Supporting the development and execution of a 5-year growth plan, track the team's annual Revenue and sales budgets.
Keep informed of and knowledgeable about the market's competitors.
Travel is required in the role, and you will be travelling across the UK throughout the week.
Requirements:
Experience as a Sales Manager / Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Engineer, or similar engineering sales position.
Experience selling into solar energy, mainly focusing on Solar PV connectors the MC4.
HND / HNC in engineering or an engineering degree is essential.
Experience in selling solutions to the OEM and end-user markets, ideally using a "added value" strategy that involves recognising issues and providing either generic or custom-made fixes.
Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel throughout the UK when required #J-18808-Ljbffr
