They specialise in the manufacture and distribution of safety products and are seeking a highly organized and proactive Logistics Manager to spearhead the development of warehousing, distribution and logistics alongside the launch of a new distribution centre. This is a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and cost-effective movement of goods from manufacturing to customers and implementing new added value services. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize supply chain efficiency Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies Monitor KPIs and prepare regular performance reports Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure timely deliveries Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs Preferred Skills Proven experience in logistics, warehouse, distribution or supply chain management Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of ERP Systems Must be located within a commutable distance to Ramsbottom as the role will be office based.
