Fantastic opportunity for a Logistics Coordinator to work for one of Europe's major FMCG manufacturers. You will be ensuring all 3PL operations run smoothly and remain safe throughout the transport process.

My client based in Greater Manchester are one of Europe's leading manufacturing businesses.
**Description**
The key responsibilities for the role of Logistics Coordinator include:
- Ensure the 3PL operations are well coordinated, audited and remain safe during the transport process
- Oversee the execution of daily transport plans
- Ensure reports and transport costs are controlled (internal and 3pl)
- Manage the daily 3PL meetings ensuring forecasts are prepared and sent to the 3PL's
- Liaise with the Logistics Manager to improve site operations and H&S procures
- Support wider stakeholders to ensure service and efficiency targets are met
**Profile**
- Dealing with the day to day 3PL operations
- Be confident in dealing with any issues and control the performance of the 3PL's
- Ensure all H&S and operations audits are undertaken
- Improve service levels and efficiency operations
- Demonstrate analytical thinking and implement their own ideas
- Working with the Logistics manager to assure enough resources are in place for a smooth operation
- People management and their development
A logistics and/or supply chain degree may be advantageous
**Job Offer**
The salary for this role is up to £35,000 per annum plus a 5% bonus. This is also an amazing opportunity to implement your own ideas and strategic vision.
