Job Description Event Planning Manager
Large Scale Events Space
40k ( mainly Mon-Fri office hours)

My client is looking for a Senior Event Planning Manager who is focused on finalising/creating the function sheets after the sales team have contracted the events. Getting final information and numbers eg: dietaries/timings etc from clients and ensuring the information is shared with the venue stakeholders and the operations team for running the event on the day of the event.

• Leading the planning process from signed contracts to on-the-day handover, the Events Manager will be the key liaison between external clients, key venue stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Create and distribute Function Sheets in the agreed departmental timeframes, post contract execution from the sales team, in order for delivery teams to execute seamlessly.
• Be responsible for ensuring contracted values are matched, but also up-sell and engage repeat event sales, in order to enhance the guest experience and produce further profit-making opportunities.
• The role will work with varied customers, evaluate budgets, process purchase orders and support ways to simplify and improve both the sales and event planning processes.
• Bring innovation, be creative and able to think outside the box – representing best in class
• To carry out regular checks of events spaces for any maintenance health and safety issues.
• To ensure company accounting policies are adhered to and checked. To comply with all legal requirements with particular reference to (but not exclusively) fire regulations, security, licence requirements and any Local Authority or Client stipulations.
