**The Opportunity**:
Following a successful launch, we are seeking to expand our high-performing team. The Conference Producer will collaborate with the Division Director and Head of Marketing to craft programme content and establish the agenda for two events in our global portfolio.

**Responsibilities**:

- Research the key topic areas of interest via phone, desktop and face to face meetings with the industry and devise creative approaches to explore them within a conference format
- Collaborate with the Division Director and important stakeholders to gather their input and participation in shaping the Conference Agenda
- Engage with the industry and support key client relationships across both program and sponsor related partnerships
- Work with the Division Director to pinpoint and approach significant figures and individuals in the marketplace who would attract the intended audience
- Create inventive supplementary material for the exhibition and networking activities to enhance the Sales Team’s resources
- Help to manage speakers onsite at our events and travel to attend both our events and for sales and research trips
- Report frequently to and receive guidance from both the Division Director and the Senior Management at Beacon Events

**Skills and Experience**:

- Possessing a minimum of 5 years of experience in a conference producing role related to finance, mining, or energy would be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities to interact effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Fluent in spoken and written English
- Self-driven, proactive, and self-managed work style
- International experience would be highly advantageous, along with a background in Energy, Minerals and or Finance events
- Willing to undertake occasional travel as required
