Fusion People are actively recruiting for a Working Supervisor to work on behalf of ou r Swindon based Maintenance and Construction client on a permanent basis.
Reporting to the Contracts Manager, as a Working Foreman you will take on the role of supporting the Special Projects and Property Services Department with their ongoing works and variety of projects of a maintenance and refurbishment nature.
Predominantly working within MOD, Schools, Public Buildings, Social Housing and other properties.
The primary role of this Working Foreman will be ensuring that the allocated projects are run efficiently and profitably ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety legislation and contract conditions. Ensure effective communication between the client and the office/supervisor/manager.
Report any issues or concerns to your manager in respect to the project or task you are working on to ensure there are no delays in completion so as not to encounter any contract penalty clauses.
Overseeing, supervising and training of site personnel including trainees and apprentices..
Supervision of specialist and nominated sub-contractors.
Minimum of NVQ Level 2 or equivalent within chosen trade
Experience of supervising teams and projects in a similar environment
SSSTS/SMSTS
You must hold a full current UK driving licence
