Head of Pre-sales (Future CTO) for a Microsoft focused MSP
Location: Hybrid with flexibility, candidates based in England preferred.

Overview :
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Pre-Sales to join a Microsoft-focused Managed Services Provider.
The successful candidate will have previous pre-sales leadership experience within an MSP/Microsoft partner environment, with their finger on the pulse in relation to technology trends and market developments and an ambition of becoming a CTO in the future.

The company offers a diverse portfolio of IT services, inclusive of offerings built around Cloud, Modern Workplace, Business Apps, virtualisation & Data centre solutions as well as UC & Connectivity.
They employ in the region of 150-200 people and have a focus on mid-market sized businesses.

Responsibilities :
Lead and manage the Pre-Sales team of Solutions Architect, providing strategic direction, support and development to the team.
Collaborate closely with the sales teams to understand client requirements and develop tailored solutions leveraging cloud based solutions & technologies.
Drive the creation of compelling proposals, presentations, and proof of concepts that showcase value to customers.
Stay updated on the latest industry advancements including technology products, and services, and incorporate them into offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
Work with the technical consultancy teams to ensure that proposed solutions are technically feasible and align with best practices.
Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders as well as external relationships such as customers, partners and vendors.

Requirements :
Proven experience in a pre-sales leadership role, within the UK IT services industry.
Strong understanding of products and services within the Microsoft portfolio (Microsoft 365, Azure, Power Platform etc.) and on-prem/hybrid cloud & data centre offerings
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their goals.
Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and implementing successful pre-sales strategies.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
