Benji and his friends are on a mission to revolutionise the way B2B sales is done, through using AI to automate things that sales people hate doing. Every job has things that are boring, repetitive and if we’re honest, we’d prefer not to have to do them. That’s where Benji steps in, bringing the latest advancements in AI to not just automate, but elevate the mundane.

Benji, currently in stealth mode, is initially focused on transforming B2B sales. As a sales person, you’ll know that sales can be tedious - particularly when it comes to nurturing leads and keeping them warm. The initial version of Benji is focused on solving this challenge. Every day he looks at what’s going on with each prospect to identify news, triggers and opportunities that would make sense for a sales person to re-engage. Benji then drafts an email, which the salesperson can review, copy and send.

For world-class sales people that already personalise emails, Benji promises to save them hours every day. For the mere mortals who take more of a ‘spray-and-pray’ approach, Benji doesn’t just automate what they do, he takes it to a whole new level, giving everyone that ‘aww, they thought of me’ feeling.

The Role

As our Rockstar Sales & Customer Success lead, you'll be a pivotal part of a small, dynamic, high-growth team. Your mission will be to spearhead our sales function, leveraging the latest tools and capabilities in the industry to drive exceptional sales results. The role involves sourcing new leads, outreaching to these leads (powered by the latest AI solutions), having initial calls to understand product-fit, and then onboarding customers. You’ll also be responsible for laying the foundations for our sales process and recruiting sales people to support the function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Utilise AI-powered tools to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the sales process.
  • Engage in direct sales efforts through email marketing and sales calls.
  • Build, train, and lead a robust sales & customer success team, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous improvement and showing customers we care.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with overall company goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to keep our sales process at the forefront.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Significant experience in email marketing, sales calls, and team leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead a successful sales team.
  • Ideally strong understanding and experience with AI-powered sales tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Creative, strategic thinker with a passion for innovation in sales.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
