Support with the Retail and Property sustainability agenda.Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, including Retail Account Managers, Property Asset Managers, Heathrow's Health & Safety team, Heathrow Engineering, tenants and third-party contractors such as HCC operators.Principal AccountabilitiesCreates reports to help in identifying deliver sales and service driving initiatives with Retailers and Tenants and support in making improvements in passenger experience. Some knowledge of the product range for each Retailer needed, making sure business partners are compliant on a day-to-day basis with range and general standards.Identify and incorporate new opportunities, operational activities and work streams that maximise sales and service opportunities. Continually improve the operational excellence and service standards of our business partners to deliver excellent passenger experience in line with all Heathrow Initiatives - through influencing managers to continually strive to improve results including but not limited to Quality Service Monitor, and operational activities that impact on safetyFocuses on Responsible Heathrow with regards to compliance with company Security, Fire and Health & Safety compliance policies, ensuring safe working practices to minimise risk to self, work colleagues and customers. In particular focus on Property tenants safety. Produce preventative maintenance life safety asset reports and dashboard, ensuring Property buildings are compliant with statutory obligations.Manages day to day logistics operations Supports Retail and Property to manage Back of House operations including working with the HCC Supplier to ensure deliveries are optimised and managed in a timely way, which doesn't impact negatively on Fire and H&S policies Crisis management Actively participates in crisis management and assist in co-ordinating contingency planning as required, this may involve working flexibly in times of crisis. This is specific to maintaining service levels when in crisis situations.Ensure Business Partners support the delivery of environmental and sustainability standards as relevant to their brand, following any guidelines issued to them by Heathrow. Champion and support this in Retail and Property departments.Keep abreast of all Terminal developments, process changes and projects to identify and implement tactical opportunities, marketing promotions and joint initiatives to grow penetration and Spend Per Buyer/ Spend Per Passenger or impact operation of Heathrow business partners.Ensuring communications and understanding of changes to HAL process and polices and assist with operationally setting up new business partners at Heathrow, being the first point of contact and acting as a conduit for all operational queries such as recruitment, ID process, stock management and deliveries. (This includes ensuring all databases are correct).Attend Direct Property site visits to support fire evacuation drills within the Perimeter and CTAManage and own occupant contact database, working with Asset Managers to ensure current information is obtained for distribution lists.Coordinate the reporting of Property and Retail close calls using Heathrows Safety reporting systemsMaintain talking shop, Retails Extranet site with relevant and up to date information. Progress to develop a new Property Tenants Extranet site, utilising relevant information for population into an online system to provide news updates and to act as online occupant user guide to Heathrow Airport locations.Role development - As Fire Risk Assessor conduct Fire Risk Assessments (successful FRA training required) on non-complex vacant Property and /or Retail units.Qualifications and ExperienceQualifications / Experience in one of the following fields preferred:Fire safety, health and safety, risk management, facilities management/compliance, contractual compliance, business management and/or experience of working in a property environment.Essential Qualifications (successful training required/provided):Level 3 Fire Safety Management - 3 day courseUnderstanding of the Fire Safety Regulations - Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (RRO), Health and Safety Regulations and Building Regulations would be an advantage.Understanding of airport operations and experience of working with teams to achieve improvement targets would be an advantageExperience working with Heathrow systems such as Airsweb, Heathrow Maps Live, Maximo and Documentum would be an advantage (training to be provided)Effective communication skills, written and verbal to enable reporting and presenting to 3rd parties, internal stakeholders and business partners essentialAnalytical and data management skills essentialStrong Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills essential.ersg are an equal opportunities employer; we are committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all job applicants.
