Our client, a leader in the water sector, is currently seeking a Programme Director (Wastewater) to join their dynamic team. This is a permanent position, offering a fantastic opportunity to take a strategic lead role within Southern Water (SWS). Provide strategic and professional guidance to Project Directors, Construction Managers, Project Managers, and team members
Champion wellbeing, safety and environment performance to ensure a culture of safety and compliance
Develop and maintain a high-performance culture across the team, delivering efficiencies and continuous improvement
Provide oversight and accountability for the successful delivery of wastewater projects, from design to handover
Manage commercial and financial performance to meet budget expectations
Experience in the leadership of complex water/wastewater projects or regional programmes
Significant experience in contract delivery, managing a regional framework of multiple projects
Extensive knowledge and experience in the water sector and wastewater treatment plants
An engaging leader with extensive line management and development of people
Excellent knowledge of CDM and Construction & Engineering Management
Familiarity with contractual forms used for collaborative project delivery
Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills

Qualifications and Training:

Chartered with an engineering, commercial or construction institution
SMSTS qualification
Association of Project Management APMP (preferred)
