Key Responsibilities: Lead the team in all aspects of wastewater delivery Provide strategic and professional guidance to Project Directors, Construction Managers, Project Managers, and team members Champion wellbeing, safety and environment performance to ensure a culture of safety and compliance Communicate extensively across stakeholders within SWS to maximise potential in the AMP8 programme Develop and maintain a high-performance culture across the team, delivering efficiencies and continuous improvement Provide oversight and accountability for the successful delivery of wastewater projects, from design to handover Manage commercial and financial performance to meet budget expectations Promote and demonstrate collaborative behaviours within the framework Job Requirements: Experience in the leadership of complex water/wastewater projects or regional programmes Ability to build strong stakeholder and partner relationships to achieve mutual success Significant experience in contract delivery, managing a regional framework of multiple projects Extensive knowledge and experience in the water sector and wastewater treatment plants An engaging leader with extensive line management and development of people Excellent knowledge of CDM and Construction & Engineering Management Familiarity with contractual forms used for collaborative project delivery Strong commercial, financial and analytical skills Qualifications and Training: HNC/HND or degree in a relevant engineering discipline Chartered with an engineering, commercial or construction institution SMSTS qualification NEC PM accreditation (preferred) Association of Project Management APMP (preferred) If you are an experienced Programme Director with a background in water or wastewater and are looking for a new challenge, we would love to hear from you.
