Financial Accountant Lanarkshire
Lusona Consultancy are working with our client within the services sector to source suitable candidates for the post of Financial Accountant, located in Lanarkshire. Within this newly created role the successful candidate will be responsible for the consolidated statutory accounts as well as collaborating with wider stakeholders in this value-add role.

Consolidating accounts and providing related intercompany disclosures and analysis
Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
Collaborating with non-financial stakeholders to understand the reasons behind the numbers
Ensuring reconciliation of intercompany balances
Assisting with the month end close process, as well as coding of revenue, cost and asset posting
Assisting with the preparation of corporation tax returns
Ensuring tax compliance across the group by reviewing and submitting VAT and P11d returns
Supporting senior management to drive improvement of financial controls

To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ICAS) or suitably qualified by experience. Applicants from accountancy practice and wider industry & commerce will be considered, with strong statutory accounting experience. Excellent communication skills are essential to collaborate with senior stakeholders frequently and work towards often tight deadlines.

Offering a salary of up to £50K(DOE) + excellent benefits and hybrid working arrangements.
